Improvement of the competitiveness of the rabbit sector through the development of a new system and product for artificial insemination.
Within Kubus’ research projects, it is worth mentioning the R&D&I CDTI: IDI-20150888 “Improvement of the competitiveness of the rabbit sector through the development of a new system and product for artificial insemination”, whose main objective is to simplify the artificial insemination technique in rabbits by developing a one-step system, avoiding the intramuscular injection of synthetic ovulation inducers.
For this purpose, Kubus has developed an innovative diluent for the preservation of sperm cells specially formulated for rabbit spermatozoa, which is being registered at the European level.
This project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with the aim of promoting technological development, innovation and quality research.
