INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Unscrew the cap of the tube and remove the support slide with the two culture media. Avoid any contact of the agar with the fingers or any surface.
2. Depending on the material to be examined, proceed as follows:
– Surfaces:
Using both hands grasp the cap and end tab of the laminoculture. To flex the plug forming an angle of 90° and to put in contact the agar with the surface to be sampled, make a light uniform pressure with both hands to facilitate the contact.
– Swabs:
Pass the swab, with which the sample was taken, over each side of the culture medium.
– Líquids:
Immerse the laminoculture in the liquid to be sampled. Remove the supernatant by gently shaking the laminoculture or remove the liquid on the plastic with absorbent paper.
3. Insert the laminoculture in its original tube and screw it up. Identify the sample properly.
4. Incubate at 37°C for 24-48 h. For the investigation of fungi and yeasts, prolong the incubation for an additional 24-48 hours at 25-30°C.
