Special box for transporting temperature sensitive material such as spermatozoa. Validated for temperature maintenance for 48 hours.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION: It is very important that the gel cold accumulators do not come into contact with the seminal doses, which is why the thermal separators should always be placed in between.
SUMMER CONDITIONS
Step 01:
Insert two gel cold accumulators FROZEN to -20ºC (OBS.01), one on each major side. Support an isothermal separator against each accumulator. The empty space will be filled with the products and with filler material so that they are not loose and can be damaged in transport.
Step 02:
Finally, an isothermal separator and 1 FROZEN gel cold accumulator at -20ºC (OBS.01) are placed in the upper part of the box (horizontal).
OBS. 01:
Accumulators FROZEN at -20ºC should be tempered to a temperature of approximately -5/-6ºC: (Hold for approximately 30 minutes at an ambient temperature of +22ºC). Temperature variation graphs with box.

WINTER CONDITIONS
Step 01:
Insert two gel cold accumulators REFRIGERATED +5ºC (±1ºC), one on each major side. Support an isothermal separator against each accumulator. The empty space will be filled with the products and with filler material so that they are not loose and can be damaged in transport.
Step 02:
Finally, an isothermal separator and 1 FROZEN gel cold accumulator at -20ºC (OBS.02) are placed in the upper part of the box (horizontal), closing it as a “roof”.
OBS. 02:
The accumulator FROZEN at -20ºC (±2ºC) must be tempered to a temperature of approximately -3/-4 ºC. (Maintain 40 minutes at a room temperature of +22ºC)
Note:
– The cold accumulators should be frozen to a temperature of -20°C (±2°C).
– The cold accumulators must be cooled to a temperature of 5°C (±1°C).
– The cold accumulators should be arranged horizontally in the refrigerator.
Time: Recommended time: Minimum 48 h in conventional refrigerator.
*Also available, upon request, 72-hour isothermal box.
