PlatCal is a digital heatable plate, which fits on any standard microscope stage.
Its compact design allows it to be positioned in the same way as an object holder. No tools are required.
PlatCal works by connecting it to a standard USB port on a nearby computer or to a charger with a USB connector. A green light will illuminate once the working temperature is within acceptable limits. The software allows the user to modify the setpoint temperature and monitor the actual temperature.
